Responsibilities Officiate YMCA youth sports games in a fair and respectful manner Help ensure player safety and adherence to league rules Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior Support coaches, players, and families in creating a welcoming environment Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled games Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Basic knowledge of the sport preferred Positive attitude and ability to work with youth and families Willingness to uphold YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
The YMCA is seeking positive, dependable, and community-minded volunteers to serve as Volunteer Referees for our youth sports programs. Volunteer Referees help create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where young athletes can learn skills, build confidence, and practice good sportsmanship.

Volunteers must complete all the required credentials before reporting for their first day of service, and coaches may not begin the season without completing all required training. Requirements: All youth sports volunteers must acknowledge the YMCA's policies and procedures. They must also participate in two training videos: Concussion Training and Child Abuse Prevention.
