Luter Family YMCA
Leaders' Club youth gain the ability and knowledge to start and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. The leaders-in-training learn about effective communication, group dynamics of leadership, confidence building, and the history of the YMCA. A key element of the Leaders' Club is the service the students give to the community. They learn how to appreciate those who work in community service and learn the importance of serving others. The club teaches effective communication that fosters healthy debate and growth between individuals. Members take this knowledge and teach others, fostering networks of future leaders that lead healthy, happy lifestyles. The ripple effects of your volunteer work will make a real contribution to the community you are working in and your own personal and professional development.
To mentor teens to become future leaders by developing their full potential.
