Greet all members warmly and assist with the check-in process to ensure a smooth start. Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous, learning members' names, and explaining the class format clearly. Always thank members individually for attending and invite them to future classes, making them feel valued and appreciated. The Group Ex instructor is responsible for conducting, teaching, and leading classes while establishing a safe and effective group exercise environment and delivering an outstanding member service experience. The instructor will work with all staff to engage members.

Volunteers must complete all required credentials before reporting for their first day of service. Requirements include acknowledging YMCA policies and procedures and completing Child Abuse Prevention training.
