Middlesex Family YMCA
As a Golf Camp volunteer, you'll work alongside staff and coaches to help young athletes learn the fundamentals of golf while building confidence, sportsmanship, and a sense of belonging. From guiding kids through drills and skill sessions to encouraging teamwork and fair play, your presence makes a lasting difference. Past volunteers have mentored over 30 children in a single season — helping build not just their golf skills, but their character and connection to community. What Volunteers Do: Assist the lead coach during camp sessions in accordance with the day's lesson plan. Responsibilities include following the YMCA Code of Conduct, exhibiting core values, building positive relationships with participants, and coaching in a supportive, encouraging environment. Volunteers may also help with equipment setup, participant check-in, hydration breaks, and end-of-week activities.
