Make a difference in your community and help prepare a child for success in school. Caring adult volunteers are needed for a variety of roles to help make YMCA Bright Beginnings a success. Shop with a child or stuff backpacks with school supplies and make sure deserving children start the school year with all the necessities. We will be shopping for approximately 60 under-served children from our community, and we need volunteers to escort the children while they shop for back-to-school clothes. The only thing it will cost you is your time. Volunteers will arrive at The Hampton Target location at 8:30 a.m. for a brief orientation. Shopping will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
