Victory Family YMCA
As a volunteer with the Swim Lessons Program, you will assist YMCA staff and instructors with in-water skills and teaching for all levels of swimming. Basic knowledge of swimming skills is beneficial but not required to volunteer. You should be comfortable in the water as a volunteer, as you will be working with children who may be apprehensive in and around the water. Along with a certified YMCA staff member, you will work with each child on swim skills appropriate to their current swim level.
To familiarize all participants with the water and promote safety and self-reliance in all aquatic endeavors.

Volunteers must complete all the required credentials before reporting for their first day of service. Requirements: All aquatics volunteers must acknowledge the YMCA's policies and procedures and participate in Child Abuse Prevention training.
